Hi Product Hunt! I'm the maker of Research Toolkit, previously published as Industry Research Framework.
Research Toolkit gives your existing AI agent a workflow for clarifying a research question, collecting evidence, connecting claims to sources, drafting section by section, and recording review decisions.
This update makes the first task easier:
- Start with Lite: a short report, separate source/claim records, and a final checklist. No reviewer or MCP setup is required.
- Choose self, external, or independent review for Full tasks. Self-review is explicitly marked as weaker; Lite skips review.
- Use the instructions with an agent that can read the repository, or supply the files or text. Native Skill installation and the six local workflow tools are optional.
The README includes a ready-to-copy Lite task with two fictional sources, so you don't need to invent a topic. The estimated first walkthrough is 5-15 minutes with your agent ready to use.
The toolkit is MIT-licensed and free to use. Your chosen agent and any external review provider have their own account requirements and usage costs.
The public case archive includes an original English report, sources, and review decisions. Our development comparisons and diagnostics do not establish a general quality advantage.
