The idea came from a very frustrating, real-world problem. In my community, whenever students apply for colleges or job seekers apply for positions online, they are hit with incredibly strict file size limits (like exactly under 25KB or 50KB for photos and IDs). Existing online tools either completely destroy the image quality, making documents unreadable, or force users through a maze of spammy ads.
I wanted to build a workspace that treats users with respect and solves this problem efficiently.
