Heyo! I'm Kurt, builder of img-forge and founder of Stackbilt.
I built img-forge because I got tired of using 4 different UI's for image assets. Now I use it daily for my dev projects. If you're building a project or agent that needs to generate images as part of its own workflow, not have a person click a button, most APIs make that awkward: no agent-native auth, no way for the agent to check or top up its own credits, heavyweight SDKs.
img-forge is an MCP server first: OAuth for interactive clients, bearer auth for autonomous agents, and billing tools so an agent can manage its own spend. 4 quality tiers live now, real REST API underneath if you don't need MCP.
