Hey PH 👋 I'm Chris, I built ImageDimensions. It started with the scanner. Editors and designers I worked with kept asking me what size some image on a live site actually was, so they could source a replacement at matching dimensions. Eyeballing it or digging through DevTools every time got old, so I built a tool that just tells you — point it at any URL and it reports every image's natural vs rendered size. The converters (PNG→WebP, JPG→WebP) came later, out of a different annoyance: every "free converter" in Google's results makes you upload your files to someone's server. These run entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — the files never leave your device. You can open the Network tab, convert a file, and watch that nothing gets sent. Everything's free, no signup, no watermarks. What's not there yet: HEIC support and a bulk ZIP download for the converters — both on my list. Feedback very welcome, especially on the converter UX.
