I built Image Text Editor for a small but surprisingly common problem: needing to change text inside an image when the original PSD, Figma, or design file is gone.
Most tools make it easy to add new text on top of an image. I wanted something focused on replacing text that is already flattened into the image while keeping the background and layout as close as possible.
A few examples:
- updating prices or promo copy in product images
- fixing dates or titles in posters
- changing labels in screenshots or tutorials
- editing banners and social graphics without rebuilding the whole design
