iLoveTools

Free, 100% client-side developer & document utilities.

I got tired of having to upload sensitive PDFs or images to random cloud services just to merge or compress them, so I built iLoveTools. It’s a suite of developer and document utilities that runs 100% locally in your browser. All the processing (PDF manipulation, image compression, OCR, etc.) happens client-side without your data ever touching a backend server.

Hi HN, I got tired of having to upload sensitive PDFs or images to random cloud services just to merge or compress them, so I built iLoveTools. It’s a suite of developer and document utilities that runs 100% locally in your browser. All the processing (PDF manipulation, image compression, OCR, etc.) happens client-side without your data ever touching a backend server. Under the hood, it's utilizing tools like pdf-lib, WebAssembly, and Tesseract.js. Because it's completely static, the UI is fast and responsive. I've also implemented some programmatic SEO and localized versions to see how well purely static client-side apps can index globally. It's completely free to use. I'd love to hear your feedback on the UX, or if there are any specific local-first utilities you'd like to see added to the workspace. Happy to answer any technical questions about the implementation!
