iHateImages
Free image toolkit that does everything in your browser
Free, private image tools that run 100% in your browser. Compress, convert, resize, crop, upscale and remove backgrounds with no upload, no watermark and no sign-up.
Why I built it: most tools upload your images, slap on a watermark, or hide the good stuff behind a paywall. Yours never leave your device.
How it works: everything runs client-side with WebAssembly and Web Workers. The background remover even runs an AI model on-device. Open your Network tab while you use it, it stays empty.
What's inside: compress, convert, resize, crop, upscale, remove backgrounds, strip EXIF/GPS, rotate, favicon generator, passport photos, image → PDF. All free.

Who hunted iHateImages?
iHateImages was hunted by Alok Tomar. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
