I’m the creator of Idees. I put my best to build my own first notes App. And yes, another notes App :)
I built this app because I wanted a beautiful, structured place to collect my thoughts, web links, voice memos, and images—without sacrificing my privacy. Often, random ideas come to my mind, and after a few hours, they are gone because I didn't write them down or add my first notes to them.
Here is why Idees is different and how it solves that:
- Privacy-First: All notes and media files are stored locally on your device or synced via your private iCloud (CloudKit) so you never lose them. We have zero access to your data.
- Zero-Training AI: The AI features (chat, structuring, memory) use a secure API gateway. None of your data is used for training models, and prompts are deleted after 30 days.
- Premium UI: Beautiful visual themes and customizable symbols per idea to keep your workspace looking clean and inspiring.
- Free to Use: The app is free. Only the optional AI assistant (acting as a helper) requires a premium upgrade.
