ID Scan
NFC passport verification, API-first.
ID Scan helps businesses verify identity documents using NFC passport scanning and a simple API-first flow. Create requests, invite users, and receive secure verification results.
Hi everyone,
We built ID Scan because many organizations still receive copies of passports and identity cards by email, while at the same time data breaches and identity fraud are increasing.
Our goal was to create a privacy-first identity verification solution that keeps sensitive data under the user's control.
ID Scan reads the NFC chip inside passports and identity documents and performs verification directly on the mobile device. Optional selfie matching is also performed on-device, which means biometric data does not need to be sent to external cloud services.
Organizations can request only the fields they actually need, supporting data minimization and GDPR-friendly verification workflows.
The platform provides:
• NFC passport and ID verification
• ICAO 9303 compliant chip validation
• On-device selfie matching
• API integration for business systems
• Configurable data retention policies
• Privacy-by-design architecture
We would love your feedback and are happy to answer any technical or compliance-related questions.
