I built I Like Tool because I kept hitting the same small frustration: needing a quick file conversion or edit, and either signing up for yet another account or uploading something I'd rather not upload to a random server.
So this is a growing collection of tools that just work in the browser — no account, no server round-trip, nothing leaves your device.
The one I'm most excited about is the SVG Path Editor — a lot of icon libraries combine multiple shapes into a single path, so you can't recolor just one part without hand-editing raw path data. This tool splits combined paths into separate pieces while correctly preserving cutouts (like eyes on an icon) — that part took a few iterations to get right!
Also just added a Favicon Generator with three ways to build one: from an image, from styled text, or from an emoji.
