Hyday
AI that understands your notes in context
Hyday is a local-first AI knowledge secretary for notes, journals, web clippings, documents, and calendars. It connects what you save with when and why it mattered, then brings the right context back as grounded next steps—while your Markdown files stay yours.
Hi Product Hunt — I’m Muki, the maker of Hyday 👋
Hyday began as a local note-taking app. But after building the first version and seeing how people actually used it, I realized the real problem was not capturing more information. It was getting value back from what was already there.
A note rarely means much by itself. Its meaning comes from the journal entry around it, the source it came from, the calendar moment when it mattered, and the ideas it connects to. That became the question behind Hyday v2: what changes when AI can understand a note in context instead of treating it as isolated text?
Hyday is my answer: a local-first AI knowledge secretary for notes, journals, web clippings, documents, and calendars. It helps connect scattered context and turn it into grounded next steps, while keeping your original Markdown files under your control.
Today, I’d especially love your feedback on three things:
1. Does “notes understood in context” feel meaningfully different from a traditional notes app?
2. Which context source would help you most: journals, calendars, web clippings, or prior notes?
3. Where should a knowledge assistant stay quiet instead of proactively helping?
Thanks for taking a look. I’ll be here to answer questions and learn from your feedback.

Hyday was hunted by MUKIwu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
