Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Alger, the solo maker behind Hunter Vault.
I built Hunter Vault because I wanted a finance app I’d actually want to open — not something that felt like a spreadsheet with a nicer UI.
Hunter Vault already made money management more engaging with budgets, goals, bills, debt tracking, XP, quests, ranks, and achievements. But one problem kept coming up:
managing money still takes too much manual work.
That’s what this launch is about.
What’s new in Hunter Vault
⚡ Smart Import
Import transactions from bank statements, receipts, screenshots, notes, and CSVs. Hunter Vault extracts the transactions for review before anything gets added.
💬 Huntee Chat
Ask questions about your money in plain language. Huntee helps you understand your spending, budgets, bills, goals, and debt without digging through multiple screens.
A big part of this update is making finance feel less tedious:
less manual transaction entry
faster understanding of where your money went
more motivation to stay consistent
And one important note: Smart Import does not require a bank connection. You stay in control and review everything before saving.
