Hi Product Hunt! I'm Matteo. A "how to do X" guide for a colleague usually means an evening of screenshots, crops and arrows. I built Howpaper (with a lot of help from Claude): you do the task once in Chrome or Edge and it writes the guide for you.
A few choices I care about:
- Free means free: unlimited guides and HTML/PDF export, no account.
- Nothing leaves your browser. There is no server for your guides, so it's fine for admin panels and internal tools you can't upload elsewhere.
- Password and card fields are pixelated automatically, and you can blur anything else with a drag.
Pro is €19 a year (or €2.99 a month) for Word and Markdown export, your logo and no footer.
