I built HotSeat because most interview prep tools ask you the same generic questions everyone else gets — "explain polymorphism," "tell me about a challenge you faced" — regardless of what's actually on your resume. That never felt like real interview prep to me. A real interviewer reads your resume and asks you about your project, your stack, your decisions.
So that's what HotSeat does — parse your resume, generate questions built around what you actually did, and adapt as you go. If you give a weak answer, it doesn't just move on — it follows up and digs deeper, the way a sharp interviewer would. And since interviews aren't just talking, you can answer by voice, in writing, or write and run real code, all graded together as one response.
Along the way I added a second piece: paste a job description and HotSeat scores your resume against it requirement-by-requirement, so you know exactly what to fix before you even apply.
