Hotfix.fun

Each micro-game is a real crisis. You have seconds.

Hotfix is a WarioWare-style micro-game built for developers. Each game is a real dev crisis — a reCAPTCHA that runs away from your cursor, a merge conflict to resolve in VS Code in 3 seconds, npm install you have to hold without letting go, 7 Chrome tabs to close before your laptop melts. 4 levels of increasing chaos — from Junior (calm) to Senior (unhinged). Each faster than the last. Every UI is a CSS/SVG replica of the real thing. No images. Everything is code. Built solo in France.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Romain, solo dev from France. I built Hotfix because I wanted a game that felt immediately familiar to developers — not a game about coding, but a game made of the actual UIs we use every day. Every micro-game is a CSS/SVG replica of a real interface: VS Code's conflict viewer, Chrome's tab strip, Google Authenticator, htop, a Norton Antivirus modal from 2004... The challenge was making everything work on mobile and desktop with pointer events only — no keyboard, no gyroscope, one thumb. Would love to know which mini-game feels the most painfully accurate to your daily life 👇 hotfix.fun
