Horror Paint and Seek
Paint yourself into the walls. Hide from two monsters.
A 3D stealth horror game where you paint your body to match patterned walls. Explore a dark facility, prepare your camouflage, and stay still as two monsters hunt you. Survive for 120 seconds, but don't let them get too close. Available for Windows for $2.99.
I wanted to create a horror game where hiding isn't just pressing a button. You actually paint your character to match the patterns on nearby walls, then stay still while two monsters search for you.
The hardest part of development was designing the monsters and making the camouflage system work naturally.
After many improvements and bug fixes, I finally released the game independently!
It's available for Windows at $2.99, with one simple goal: survive for 120 seconds.
My long-term dream is to let another player control a monster in multiplayer mode.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the painting mechanic. Thanks for checking it out!
