Hey Product Hunt! 👋
We built Horror Duck because choosing a horror movie often takes longer than watching the opening scene. General streaming catalogs give you endless rows, but they rarely understand whether you want supernatural dread, a slow psychological burn, a claustrophobic survival story, or something genuinely brutal.
Horror Duck starts with the details of your taste—subgenres, regions, settings, atmosphere, and intensity—and turns them into a focused set of daily AI-assisted recommendations. Each pick includes a reason, so the result feels useful rather than random.
We also wanted the app to be more than a recommendation screen. There is a live horror movie feed, favorites and history, a daily clue-based quiz, Duck Egg rewards, and a fan ranking for a little friendly competition.
This is our first public Android release, currently distributed as a direct APK. iOS is still in development.
