I'm Rayan, the dev behind Hopopop.
I built this in 6 weeks because I kept opening Instagram on autopilot, sometimes 3 seconds after putting my phone down. I also wanted to tackle brain rot. I noticed I couldn't do simple math anymore. So I wanted something to make me "earn" my screen time.
So I built an app that does both. You hit Instagram, you get a math or quiz challenge. Solve it, set your timer, scroll. That's it.
The hardest part was Apple's Screen Time API, notoriously painful, barely documented. But it works, and it's smooth.
Would love your honest feedback, especially on the onboarding and your overall experience after a few days. Also if you'd like other types of challenges !
