I wanted to set up a membership for developers on Telegram and kept running into the same thing: the tools that handle payments and community access felt built for big platforms, not for creators. Pricing ate into every new member. Support was slow or basically nonexistent when something broke at the worst time — usually right after someone paid.
A friend of mine runs a Telegram community of about 100 fans at $39/month. That’s roughly $3,900/month. At ~15% platform fees, he’s losing around $585 every month — almost $7,000 a year — before he even thinks about payment processing. He wasn’t asking for a mega suite.
