Hey everyone, Dani here. I'm a developer from Madrid and this is the first app I've built for my own house.
My partner and I tried a few budget apps and we always dropped them after a couple of weeks. Writing down every coffee and every supermarket run just wasn't going to happen. What we really wanted to know was much more basic: what bills are coming, how much each of us can spend this month, and at the end, did we do ok or not.
That's what Hoomi does. You add your fixed bills once (rent, electricity, Netflix...) and they repeat every month. It works if you have a joint account, separate ones, or you just share everything. And when the month ends it tells you how it went and what to do with what's left. No bank connection, nothing to log day to day.
