Hooki started from a very specific frustration: I was integrating Stripe webhooks on a side project, and I kept thinking "there has to be a better debugging workflow than adding log statements and refreshing."
I looked at what was out there. Webhook.site is the old reliable but it feels abandoned — the UI, the UX, the entire experience. It works, but I dread opening it. So I built the tool I wanted: a webhook console that looks and feels like modern dev tooling.
Tech stack: Next.js + TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis-backed SSE for real-time streaming, Tailwind CSS with dark/light theme support.
What's next: Public API for inbox management, signed webhook verification (HMAC-SHA256 + JWT), webhook forwarding, and more polish based on your feedback.
