I built HookFix GPT after noticing how many creators lose viewers before their video even really starts.
Most hooks are too generic:
“Today I’m going to show you…”
The goal was to create a tool that instantly rewrites weak intros into more curiosity-driven openings designed for better retention and watch time.
I focused heavily on:
• short-form hooks
• emotional tension
• curiosity patterns
• viral-style opening structures
The biggest challenge was making outputs feel punchy instead of robotic.
