Hi Product Hunt! I'm Wilson, and I built Hometown in Nigeria.

I wanted a game that feels like home: you live in a real Nigerian state, take a job, start a POS stand or a factory, buy land, build a house, take danfos and okadas, and if you're bold, run for governor and manage your state's budget with your own cabinet.

Since launch in October, over 10,000 players in 32 of Nigeria's 37 states have joined, almost all through TikTok. Lagos is now a full 3D city generated from OpenStreetMap, and Abuja is next.

It runs in the browser on cheap phones (with a lighter "Classic map" for older ones), and the Android app is coming to Google Play.

I'd love your honest feedback: what would make you come back tomorrow? I'll be here all day answering every comment.
