I built HisabPoint because the simplest way many small shops manage customer credit is still a notebook.
The problem isn't that shopkeepers don't have accounting software available — it's that a lot of accounting software feels like overkill when all you want to know is:
Who owes me money, how much do they owe, and what did they buy?
HisabPoint is my attempt to turn that simple paper khata into a simple digital one.
You can add customers, record transactions, track paid/due amounts, and view customer history without dealing with complicated accounting workflows.
This is our first launch, so I'm especially interested in hearing from shop owners, developers, and anyone who has dealt with paper-based bookkeeping.
