Hi Product Hunt — I’m Rahul, the maker of HindiType. I started building it after seeing how often Hindi typing tools bury the actual typing experience under crowded layouts and long instructions. Hindi input also has technical details that general typing products rarely handle well: Devanagari grapheme clusters, matras, InScript mappings, Remington/Kruti Dev workflows, and phonetic suggestions. The first release keeps the typing area central. It includes timed tests, guided lessons, a responsive keymap, English-to-Hindi transliteration, legacy text converters, and a Hindi font preview gallery. Core text processing happens locally in the browser. I’d love feedback from Hindi typists and learners, especially on keyboard mappings, scoring, and the next lessons or exam modes you need.
