Hilma
The autonomous alignment layer for the era of vibe coding
The barrier to building software is gone. The barrier to building the right software just got higher. Historically, 80% of features go unused. Now that design, marketing, and operations can "vibe code" product changes instantly using AI agents, the speed of shipping misaligned features is multiplying. Hilma pulls business context from your existing business tools and evaluates every proposed product change against your actual strategy before it merges.
👋 Hi Product Hunt! I’m John, the founder of Hilma.
We are officially in the era of "vibe coding." AI agents and tools like Cursor and Lovable have completely removed the barrier to building software.
But my hypothesis is this: while the friction between an idea and delivered code is gone, building the right software just got significantly harder.
Historically, 80% of software features go unused. Now that domain experts across design, marketing, and ops can ship product changes instantly, the speed of shipping misaligned features is multiplying. Traditional CI/CD pipelines verify that code is clean, but nothing verifies that it’s actually aligned with your roadmap.
That’s why we built Hilma.
Hilma is an autonomous alignment layer that sits directly in your GitHub PRs. Here is how it keeps your org moving fast without losing the product vision:
Zero Migration: It automatically pulls business context from the tools you already use (Jira, Linear, Notion, Slack, etc.).
Contextual Evaluation: When someone vibe-codes a change, Hilma scores the PR against your actual business strategy and recent support tickets.
Smart Routing: It either approves the change to ship, puts it on hold, or routes it to the exact right human reviewer (like the Growth or Finance lead) in Slack with full context.
We are live in public beta today, and I built this to empower everyone to build the right thing.
I would absolutely love your feedback. What do you think about the concept of an alignment layer? Drop your thoughts, questions, or edge cases below—I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day! 🚀

Who hunted Hilma?
Hilma was hunted by John Frantzén. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
