I've lived here for years now, and over time I noticed something strange - most travelers leave Saigon never having experienced what makes it actually alive. They see the temples, eat at restaurants Google recommends, take the same photos as everyone else, and miss the city entirely. Meanwhile, every city in the world has people who *know* it. The locals who know the best phở stall (not the one with English signs), the rooftop nobody talks about, the right time to be at the market. That knowledge stays trapped in their heads. I built Hilads to fix this. Hilads is the app that turns travelers into locals. Locals dare you to find things only they know - through challenges. A week ago, I challenged someone in Manaus from Saigon to show me a tambaqui, an Amazonian fish I've never seen in my life. Someone in Manaus joined the app and accepted.
