HideNStick Notes
Sticky notes that hide on your Windows screen edge
Most sticky notes cover your work. HideNStick Notes lives in a slim rail on the edge of your Windows screen instead. Hover a tab to write, pin notes over any app, then tuck everything away. Hide the rail completely and bump the edge twice (or press Ctrl+Alt+N) to bring it back. Grab text from any app with Ctrl+Alt+C and search every note with Ctrl+F. No account, no cloud, works fully offline. Early bird: 50% off at launch.
I'm Sridhar, a solo developer, and this is HideNStick Notes.
The problem: I always had 20 windows open, and the one note I needed was buried. Regular sticky notes sat on top of my work, and notes apps got lost behind everything else.
So I built notes that live on the screen edge. A slim rail stays out of the way; hover a tab and the note opens. You can pin notes over any app while you work, or hide the rail completely and bump the edge twice to bring it back.
A few things I cared about: 🔒 No account, no cloud, no tracking. Your notes stay on your PC. ✂️ Ctrl+Alt+C grabs selected text from any app straight into a note. 🔍 Ctrl+F finds any note or tab in a second.
It's built with Tauri (Rust + React) and is available on the Microsoft Store, with an early bird 50% off at launch. site: https://hidenstick.codeaprogram.dev/ app: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9N1K57V3DQML I'd love your honest feedback, especially on the edge-bump gesture. What would make this part of your daily workflow?
