I built Hexis Journal because the app I used to journal in every morning quietly turned into something I didn't want to open anymore.
New AI features I didn't ask for. A subscription where there used to be a price tag. A streak counter that started shaming me on travel days. I went looking for a replacement and realised the whole category had drifted in the same direction.
So I build a better one, a place that allows me to think and doesn't keep my thoughts under subscription payments.
