When we looked back at v2, we heard your feedback loud and clear. While the core engine was solid, the Developer Experience (DX) had some major friction points. We spent the last year entirely focused on fixing that by making Hexabot cleaner, highly extensible, and significantly friendlier for JS/TS developers to build with.
But the biggest transformation is what Hexabot can actually do now.
We’ve completely shifted our focus away from just building standalone chatbots. Hexabot v3 is a workflow-centric, self-hosted AI automation engine. It's designed to orchestrate complex background business processes, sync with your stack via declarative YAML and MCP tools, and turn conversational data into real, automated backend service operations.
