I'm incredibly excited to share HellSecure with you all today.
The Problem: I realized that most "secure" file-sharing platforms require you to trust them completely. Even if they encrypt your data, their servers often hold the keys to decrypt it. If they get breached, your data gets breached.
The Solution: I built HellSecure to be a true zero-knowledge platform. When you encrypt a file, the encryption happens entirely locally in your browser using the WebCrypto API. The master key is mathematically split into two halves—you keep one half, and the server gets the other. Our servers literally never see your file, and they never possess the full key to decrypt it.
Here are a few features I’m really proud of:
Paranoid Mode: We layer XSalsa20-Poly1305 on top of AES-256-GCM for double encryption.
Remote Kill-Switch: You get a Management Key that lets you track access stats and permanently destroy the key on our servers at any time.
Ghost Mode (Steganography): We built a tool that lets you hide encrypted text invisibly inside the pixels of standard image files.
I built this for anyone who needs to share sensitive documents, code, or credentials without leaving a permanent footprint on the internet.
