Hearth
Free Discord-style chat app for Windows: text, voice, video
Hearth is a free desktop chat app for Windows, built for communities, friend groups and gaming or study groups. Servers with text and voice channels, DMs and friend requests, one-to-one calls with camera and screen share, reactions, replies, threads, polls, link previews, roles and permissions, AutoMod, audit log, forum channels, reminders and an in-app updater. Installer or portable exe. Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns on first run (More info, Run anyway).
Hi Product Hunt, Hearth team here. Hearth is a free desktop chat app for Windows for communities and friend groups: servers with text and voice channels, DMs and calls with camera and screen share, roles and moderation, threads, polls, reminders, scheduled messages and more. We ship small updates often and the app updates itself.
Two honest notes: it's Windows-only for now, and it isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen warns the first time you run it (click More info, then Run anyway).

Who hunted Hearth?
Hearth was hunted by Hearth Team. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
