The Solution:
I built Harnest to fix this. It’s a community-ranked directory where every AI tool is permanently paired with a "Nest" 🪹—a dedicated community space for that specific tool. The directory and the discussion live together, so they never drift apart.
What makes it different:
• Structured Reviews: We don't just do "5 stars". We capture the version, experience duration, and specific use case. Real signal, zero fluff.
• Claim Your Nest: If you maintain an AI tool, you can claim your Nest for free. You get a Verified badge, can pin your docs/Discord, and moderate the space.
• Community Rallies: Support the open-source tools you love and boost their visibility on the trending feed.
I built this because I wanted a neutral, community-owned space to compare tools based on actual developer experience.
