I built Happy Deathday as a pet project - a birthday card that doesn't lie. Instead of "wishing you many more years", it shows a real-time countdown to the recipient's estimated death date, calculated from WHO life expectancy data by country and gender.
The idea is simple: birthdays are a reminder that time is finite. Why not make that explicit - with dark humour and a ticking timer?
