Why I built it
Running PHP apps on your own server is cheap and flexible, but it comes with chores. You SSH in, pull code, fix permissions, restart services, patch PHP and hope nothing breaks. Managed platforms remove that work, but you pay a premium and your apps live on someone else's infrastructure. I wanted the convenience without giving up ownership.

How it stays safe
Hanoo's agent on your server only runs a fixed set of typed operations. It never executes arbitrary shell commands, so a compromised dashboard can't be used as a remote shell.
Works with Claude
Hanoo also connects to Claude over MCP, so you can say "deploy the latest commit of my app" or "roll back the last release" and it runs through the same safe operations.
