HangarPad came out of a simple frustration: hangar space is one of the scarcest assets in general aviation — 71% of GA airports report shortages, and the worst fields have five-year waitlists — yet finding space still means phone calls, PDFs, and word of mouth.
HangarPad puts it all on one searchable field: listings aggregated from official airport sources (published rate + a link to apply at the source), plus hangars listed directly by owners — for aircraft, helicopters, car collections, boats, and RVs, on airports and off. Browsing is free, and listing a hangar is free and takes about five minutes.
Two things I'd genuinely love feedback on:
1. Pilots/renters: which specs matter most when you're hunting for space — door dimensions, power, access hours? What should be filterable?
2. Owners: what would make you comfortable listing an empty hangar here?
