Hands for Agents

Your AI agent can now order a physical object

An MCP server and REST API in front of a mechanical engineer in the EU. Your agent asks for a quote; a person answers within 24 hours with one fixed price, then makes it, documents it and ships it. No account, no crypto.

I'm a mechanical engineer in the Czech Republic, and I got tired of the fact that an AI agent can call an API for almost anything except making a physical object exist.

So I put an MCP server in front of myself. Five tools — list_services, request_quote, create_task, get_status, confirm_delivery. No account, no API key. Your agent describes what it needs, I read it and answer within 24 hours with one fixed price or a refusal with a reason, and then I make the thing, photograph every step and ship it with the customs paperwork.

You can try it right now without signing up for anything:

handsforagents.com/v1/services — plain JSON, no key needed

Or add it to your MCP client: it's in the official MCP registry as com.handsforagents/hands, or npx -y handsforagents-mcp for stdio clients.

What I can actually do: 3D printing in my own workshop, CNC and sheet metal through Czech subcontractors, assembling hardware you ship me, measuring parts against your drawing with the instrument named in the report, testing a device against your script, driving to an address in the Czech Republic and photographing what's there, and receive-repack-ship.

45 EUR/hour plus materials at cost. Card through Stripe — no cryptocurrency, deliberately, because I want every client identifiable and every task on an invoice from a company you can look up in a public register.

Three things the front page says out loud rather than hides: zero tasks completed so far, liability insurance being arranged and not yet in force, and payments that are brand new: card payments through Stripe opened on 23 September, and the only payment so far is a 1 EUR test on my own card, refunded.

I'd love to know what you'd send an agent to do in the physical world if you could. That's the question I actually don't know the answer to.
