A shared evidence record for every charter handover
HandoverBoat gives charter bases and marinas a shared evidence record for every handover, not just a folder of phone photos. A 27-zone inspection (16 critical, 11 optional) runs at check-in and check-out, about 45 minutes. Every photo is hashed with SHA-256, timestamped on the server, and bound into a paired before/after PDF with a public verify link either side can open independently. Runs fully offline. From €8/month per boat, scaling with fleet size. Web, iOS and Android, in 8 languages.
I built this after looking at how charter handovers actually work. A base holds a guest's deposit and also runs the inspection that decides whether it comes back — but the record that produces is usually written and stored by one side only, after the fact.
HandoverBoat makes the handover itself produce a shared record: 27 zones, every photo hashed and timestamped on the server, a paired before/after PDF, and a public link either side can open to check the photos are the originals. The guest and the base verify the same copy, at the same time.
It works offline, because that is where boats sit.
