Hey everyone!
I'm Pasi, the creator of HandleKit. I build fast, clean web tools, and recently I've been experimenting with what’s possible using modern browser APIs like the Web Audio API and HTML5 Canvas.
That led me to build a suite of sensory screening tools that run entirely client-side in the browser:
- A Pelli-Robson contrast sensitivity test (measures subtle contrast vision thresholds that standard 20/20 eye charts miss)
- A high-frequency hearing age test (pure sine waves from 8 kHz to 20 kHz to test presbycusis and the 17.4 kHz "mosquito tone")
- A tinnitus pitch matcher with a notched sound therapy generator
- A JND (Just Noticeable Difference) color perception test based on Weber's Law
Everything runs locally in your browser with no accounts, no sign-ups, and no server-side audio/data processing. I've also open-sourced the core screening engines on GitHub: https://github.com/pasihaka/sens...
