Halo

Double-response emergency network & medical booking

We built a unique "Double-Response" platform that instantly steps in when every second counts. Pressing our in-app SOS button simultaneously dispatches Georgian 112 emergency services and alerts certified first-aid helpers in your immediate vicinity—effectively doubling a patient's survival window. Beyond emergencies, Halo completely simplifies fragmented medical scheduling. You can now browse clinics and book doctor appointments across Georgia from a single, unified dashboard.

Top comment

The inspiration for Halo comes from a simple, crucial reality in emergency medicine: time is survival. In a severe medical crisis (like cardiac arrest or choking), a patient's chances of survival drop drastically with every passing minute. Traditional emergency services (112) operate on a single-dispatch system. If an ambulance is delayed by Tbilisi traffic, a patient is left entirely alone during the most critical window of a medical crisis. Halo creates a Double-Response network. The exact moment a user presses the SOS button, it simultaneously alerts 112 and pings nearby, certified first-aid responders. This fills the empty gap of time with immediate, community-backed first aid, effectively doubling a patient's survival window

Who hunted Halo?

Halo was hunted by Kesaria Songhulashvili. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
