Halo
A customizable workspace in your Mac’s notch
Halo turns your Mac’s notch into a customizable workspace for music, lyrics, files, timers, clipboard history, notes, launching apps, system controls, and more. Start with a polished preset—or shape the interface around the way you use your Mac.
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Pranav, the developer behind Halo.
I built Halo because I felt most Mac notch utilities either forced everyone into the same layout or did not go far enough. I wanted the top of my Mac to become a space I could actually shape around how I work.
Halo includes practical tools for music, lyrics, files, timers, clipboard history, notes, launching apps, and system controls. The part I’m most excited about is Custom Interfaces: Halo is not locked to one fixed notch layout, so the same space can become a compact media player, a productivity dashboard, a file shelf, or something completely different.
Halo launches at $24.99 for a lifetime license covering two Macs. A monthly option for $2.99/mo is also available, with a 25% student discount on all license.
I’d love feedback on two things: what would you actually keep in your Mac’s notch every day, and what would you build if you could make it your own?

Who hunted Halo?
Halo was hunted by Doshagyasing Gowardun. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
