Top comment

I built HairGlam because every "try on hairstyles" app I found showed the cut on a model, which tells you nothing about your own face shape and hairline. HairGlam renders the style on your photo instead. The hard part was keeping the face identical while changing only the hair; the catalogue pages at hairglam.app/hairstyles show the same studio portrait before and after every look so you can judge the edit yourself. Happy to answer anything about how the rendering works.

Who hunted HairGlam?

HairGlam was hunted by Viral Tandel. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
