Habits: One Day at a Time

Build lasting habits by starting small

Most habit apps ask you to decide what to change and then track it. Habits takes a different approach. It guides you through small, manageable daily actions first. As those actions become easier and consistency grows, bigger habits are gradually introduced — including movement and exercise. No streaks. No endless setup. No social feed. No pressure to change everything at once. Start small. Build consistency. One day at a time.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Habits around a simple observation: when we decide to improve our lives, we often try to change everything at once. Exercise more. Eat better. Sleep better. Read more. Be more productive. That approach can quickly become overwhelming. So I wanted to try the opposite. Habits starts with small, manageable actions that are easy to fit into everyday life. The idea is to build consistency first. As those actions begin to feel natural, the journey gradually introduces bigger habits — including movement and exercise. I also wanted Habits to feel different from traditional habit trackers. You don't start with an empty dashboard and build a long checklist of things to track. The journey is already there to guide you, one day at a time. There are no streaks, no social feed and no pressure to be perfect. The goal isn't to spend more time in an app. It's to gradually make better habits part of your actual life. Habits has just launched on Android, and this is still the beginning. I'd really love to hear what you think about the approach — especially the idea of starting with easier habits before gradually introducing more challenging ones. Thanks for checking it out!
