Hey everyone 👋
I built Gynus because I'm terrible at working out alone. I'd start strong, miss one day, then quietly disappear from the gym for a month.
The problem is that most fitness apps are built around competition — leaderboards, rankings, who lifted more. That works great for the top 5% and makes everyone else feel behind. I wanted the opposite: an app where my friends and I are on the same team, chasing one shared weekly goal, winning or losing together.
So that's Gynus. You make a group, set a target like "everyone works out 3x this week," post your workouts, and hype each other up. The week only counts as "perfect" if everyone hits it, so there's this gentle peer-pressure to not let your group down.
It's live on iOS and Android. I'd love your honest feedback. And if you've got a workout buddy, try starting a group with them; that's where it clicks.
