Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Corey, the builder of Gymex. I lift 4x a week and got tired of my stack: Strong for logging, MyFitnessPal for macros, a Notes file for my program, and a photos app for progress. Every change meant updating four places.
So over the last few months I built Gymex. It's an iOS-only app (iPhone + iPad) that replaces that stack with one app and an AI coach:
• A conversational AI coach with access to your real training history — not a generic chatbot
• Voice-logged sets so you don't tap the phone mid-set
• Automatic PR detection across 1RM, volume, heaviest weight, and highest reps
• AI auto periodization with plateau detection and deload suggestions
• Macro tracking with barcode scanning and natural-language meal logging
• Body measurements (13+), progress photos with a before/after slider
• Garmin pairing, Apple Health, Sign in with Apple, offline-first
The category I'm really in is AI coaching software — Fitbod / Caliber / Future — not the Strong / Hevy logger category. Caliber and Future charge £150–£300/month because they include a human. Gymex does the software layer driven by AI.
Future pricing will be Core £7.50 / Premium £15 / Pro £20 a month, but during our launch period every tier is unlocked free with no card and no trial timer. I'd rather get honest lifter feedback than revenue in month one.
What's missing: Android (on the roadmap), native Apple Watch complications (Apple Health integration today), and volume of App Store reviews (we're launch-fresh).
