Gym Cards

A workout diary that never leaves your phone

Gym Cards turns a training year into a shelf of month cards. Give a month a cover photo, flip the card for the calendar, tap a day to see the sets. Logging takes about ten seconds, and a photo from the gym counts as a workout. No account, no ads, no analytics: the database lives on the phone and the App Store label says Data Not Collected. iPhone and Android, six languages. Pro is one payment of $9.99, never a subscription.

Top comment

I built Gym Cards because every training app I tried wanted an account before it would let me write down a set of squats. So this one has no account, no ads and no analytics. The database is SQLite on the phone, backups go to your own iCloud if you switch them on, and I cannot see a single workout any of you log. That is not a privacy policy, it is just how the app is built. The part people seem to like most is not the logging, it is the shelf of month cards. Give a month a cover photo, flip the card, and a year of training turns into something you actually want to scroll through. Free to use on iPhone, and on Android since October. Pro is one payment of $9.99, never a subscription: recaps, photo overlays, unlimited goals, themes, widgets and automatic backup. Happy to answer anything about building it: Expo, SQLite, widgets, or what it takes to ship six languages on your own.
