I set up OpenClaw at home. Took me 8 hours. And once I had it running, I didn't know what to do with it. That was the inspiration behind Gusto Cofounder.
Both Open Claw and Claude Cowork are so powerful, but they suffer from the "blank canvas" problem. Most users just don't know what to do with it, even though it can do so much. Giving a Claw to someone is a little like giving my 90 year old grandma a PC with Mac OSX. She doesn't know how to get started.
I thought to myself, what if instead we start with the problems of payroll, HR, time, and compliance and then introduce our own "Claw" on top of that?
