GTA Range

Feel GTA-style guns on your PS5 DualSense, in the browser

Plug a PS5 DualSense into desktop Chrome or Edge and fire 38 GTA-style weapons. Each one has its own adaptive-trigger feel, rumble kick, HD haptics and lightbar colour: melee winds up and snaps on R2, the Combat MG spins up, Molotovs set petrol trails alight. Or play GTA VI Trailer 2 and feel every shot, crash and engine through the controller. USB or Bluetooth, nothing to install. 5 weapons free, pay what you want to unlock the rest. Fan-made, not affiliated with Rockstar.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Aryan. GTA 6 comes out on November 19 and it uses the PS5's adaptive triggers, so I wanted to see how far you can push a DualSense from a plain web page. It turns out Chrome can talk to the controller directly over WebHID. GTA Range is a small 3D shooting range where every weapon drives the triggers its own way: 38 weapons, and all six of the DualSense's trigger effects are in use. Things to try: • Swing the baseball bat: the trigger tenses as you wind up and snaps when you let go • Fire the Pistol, Micro SMG and Pump Shotgun back to back and compare the kick • Play the GTA VI Trailer 2 card: the controller hums in cars, kicks on every shot, and the lightbar flashes as the police go past How it works: desktop Chrome, Edge or Opera, over USB or Bluetooth. No DualSense? It still plays with mouse and keyboard, you just won't feel it. Fists and 4 weapons are free. Pay what you want ($5+) to unlock the other 34, and every extra $5 you pay becomes a free unlock code that anyone can grab from the banner. It's a fan project, not affiliated with Rockstar or Sony. Which weapon feels best to you, and which one feels off? I'm tuning them based on what you tell me.
