GPT-4 Slack bot trained on your Slack's public history
Grunt is Open AI's GPT-4 trained on history from your selected Slack channels so that it can help assist in all sorts of tasks from #onboarding to remembering #sev timelines, being served for only 5 cents a message.
👋 Hey Product Hunt!
Today I’m excited to show you Grunt, a Slack bot that is powered by GPT-4.
The reason I built Grunt is so employees can more easily use the tribal knowledge of a company that exists inside Slack. How many times have you had to search through pages of Slack data, trying to find out why your VPN wasn’t working? Or how many times have you known that something was spoken about but you can’t find it? Grunt is perfect for fielding questions like these.
Grunt has context across channels that you select, so if you talked about a project in #projectA, Grunt will still know about it in your #projectB, which is perfect for making sure there are no conflicts and gaining consensus. Right now we’re planning to retrain Grunt weekly and then work on getting that down to daily, so that it’s always up to date.
I’ll be in the comments all day and would love to hear your questions, thoughts, and feedback!

Grunt was hunted by Will Harrison. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
