Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm excited to share GroupWhat with the community today. The idea came from a simple frustration: finding active WhatsApp groups online was much harder than it should be. Most websites publish WhatsApp group links once and never maintain them afterward. Over time, many of those links become expired, revoked, inactive, or full, forcing users to click through multiple broken invites before finding a group they can actually join. When I started looking into the problem, I realized that the challenge wasn't discovering WhatsApp groups—it was maintaining them. WhatsApp group links are constantly changing as admins reset invite links, groups reach capacity, or communities become inactive. Yet most directories treat these links as static content. That observation shaped the direction of GroupWhat. Instead of simply collecting WhatsApp group links, I focused on building a directory that automatically checks invite links regularly and removes links that are no longer valid. The goal is to make WhatsApp group discovery more reliable and save users from wasting time on broken links. Building this has been a continuous learning process. What started as a simple directory evolved into a system focused on link quality, maintenance, and long-term reliability. I'd love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and questions.
